By KestrelSong27 I got the light blue 13" neoprene case, and I am very impressed both with the product and the seller! I'd like to get a case in every color! Because my official computer case is very big and heavy (especially for walking around a college campus), I tried carrying my laptop in a messenger bag. But it was only a week or so before I noticed scratches on the outside of my computer because it was bumping up against pens, pencils, textbooks, folders, and even a stapler in the bag. In addition to my concerns about my laptop's appearance, I was also concerned that it could be easily seen and stolen from my bag. I started my lengthy search for a laptop sleeve and ran up against more problems because very few sellers offer sleeves to perfectly fit a 13" laptop. The going price for those I found was around $25-$30, which is out of my price range. Then I found this seller's Amazon site, saw the exciting array of colors and designs, and was floored at the inexpensive price. I ordered immediately, and my case arrived in 2-3 days with regular shipping. The product was exactly as advertised, and I couldn't be happier with it if it made me coffee in the morning! Love LOve LOVE our Zuca Pro By Avid Reader I bought this for my husband for business travel, but we first tested it out on a personal trip and it was wonderful! It's light, easily fits down the plane aisle, pockets for all kinds of convenient access and easy to lift overhead with the extra handles. Obviously, some serious thought went into the design of this. We were away for a wedding and I was able to pack all of the clothing and shoes for my 15 month old daughter and my husband in the one case using the roll packing method - this included his suit and dress shoes. I also bought him the backpack and it was equally well-designed. Especially easy to access compartments to remove a laptop and go through security and organize lots of baby snacks and toys. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. excellent, but should be flawless for the price By C. Keenan Let's be clear, nearly $300 is a lot to pay for a small box with wheels, but then, like the perfect pair of jeans, or perfect jacket, it can be hard to put a price on the perfect suitcase, especially for someone who uses it a lot. In brief: There are so many things that *are* great about this suitcase, the things that aren't quite perfect really stand out. (see below for Pros & Cons) What it is: a medium-small roll-aboard suitcase with heavy duty aluminium frame. It opens like a locker, and includes smaller zipper pouches that can be stacked inside. it has a standard retractable handle and a pair of large-ish fixed wheels, as well as a slightly unique form factor, being longer than it is wide when you drag it. It's construction also allows you to sit on it. (a feature not to be under estimated!). It's different enough from a regular suitcase it can have a bit of a learning curve, but in a good way- like learning to use an ipad when you're used to a laptop. Why I bought It: I travel a lot between the U.S. and Japan, and when I'm not moving somewhere permanently, I'm pretty good at travelling compact (if not always light ;-). I've been a long time user of Travel Pro suitcases. their basic model that so many airline personel use was compact, tough as nails, and stylish in a simple enough way. When my last one finally gave out, I was non-plussed with their newer curvier (fatter looking) models. Hard-shell suitcases are all the rage in Japan, but i'd had more than one give up on me. I wanted a trendy, tough new travel-pro alternative, and Zuca was it. My experience: I've had it for about a year now, with several months of active use. It's a beautiful thing to behold, and I often get compliments on it in airports. Upon opening the Zucca, I was disappointed to discover that, even out of its case, my 13" Macbook Pro, would not *quite* fit in flat, and given the shelf system of smaller bags, putting it in vertically wouldn't work. the laptop, in its neoprene case can be tucked in one of the outside pockets of the zuca, which is handy for easy access, and works for moving around, but not secure enough for storing/checking like that. The included cover I use when checking the bag, and offers a bit of weather resistance, but it makes accessing most areas slow, and is a bit bulky to tuck away in the suitcase, if you have it on a trip but decide you don't want to use it. I like the size (fits easily in most overhead bins, and a miata trunk) and the narrowness is good for going down airplane aisles, but the fact that it's longer than it is wide when being pulled makes it a bit unstable when going over any bumps when power-walking. since it's a bit top heavy, going over say, the edge of a carpet or angled seam in the sidewalk can get it fishtailing out of control if you don't hit the obstacle perfectly perpendicularly. That said, it's *great* for walking with heavy loads. I once had the wheel of another suitcase literally melt when i was huffing across brooklyn one night, but I dragged my zucca for 2+

Nothing fancy. It requires 2 free USB ports (look at the picture on Amazon). On my MacBook Pro the USB ports are on opposite sites of the computer, and the cable JUST reaches if I stretch the cable across the top of my keyboard (doesn't obstruct any keys). I bought the Iomega superslim DVD writer as an accessory for a Windows XP version of the Acer Netbook. I used the Iomega DVD drive to load software...without a hitch. I had hoped to use the Iomega product as a backup device for various laptops, and I was disappointed. The bundled software, Nero 8 OEM is a huge software package (468 MB) with more license limitations on media types than I can list here. If you own an older version of Nero, you will find that it works quite well with the Iomega product. Using the Iomega DVD writer as a backup device on my two Dell laptops requires an external power supply, not included with the Iomega product. Reading disks works quite well off of USB power. Writing data files consistently fails with messages about USB power surges from Windows. With some significant limitations, this product gets a 3 out of 5 from me...but it should probably be a 2. 43 of 49 people found the following review helpful. Iomega CD/DVD Burner By Incognito I have had Iomega products before and was quite satisfied, although their Tech Support help is limited. I was surprised that, in this case the CD/DVD burner was "DOA". I called Iomega's Tech Support and they were prompt, courteous and did trouble shooting over the phone. They agreed with the "dead-on-arrival" status and arranged for a replacement drive to be sent directly to me. All that sad, I was disappointed with the "flimsy nature" of the drive's outer shell. I understand keeping things small and light but do not belive the outer shell should be as thin a material as it is. While, with care, the drive will be okay, it is not going to be easy to carry the thing around in my computer bag without getting crushed somewhere along the way. Not pleased, plastic outgassing By Math Advocate If you're looking for a cheap envelope for your MacbookPro, I suggest making an origami case over this product.When this product arrived, Amazon had shipped it in a box that was too small for the product, so it showed up bent. But upon further inspection the product itself outgassed a terrible plastic smell or fishy rotten odor from the inside of the case. It was pretty unbearable. I didn't dare put my laptop in it, so that it wouldn't stink. I ended up having to return it, after attempting to air it out for several weeks near an air cleaner and fan. The smell wouldn't go away.You get what you pay for and if its $15, it's going to be cheap materials and come with obvious flaws. By KestrelSong27 I got the light blue 13" neoprene case, and I am very impressed both with the product and the seller! I'd like to get a case in every color! Because my official computer case is very big and heavy (especially for walking around a college campus), I tried carrying my laptop in a messenger bag. But it was only a week or so before I noticed scratches on the outside of my computer because it was bumping up against pens, pencils, textbooks, folders, and even a stapler in the bag. In addition to my concerns about my laptop's appearance, I was also concerned that it could be easily seen and stolen from my bag. I started my lengthy search for a laptop sleeve and ran up against more problems because very few sellers offer sleeves to perfectly fit a 13" laptop. The going price for those I found was around $25-$30, which is out of my price range. Then I found this seller's Amazon site, saw the exciting array of colors and designs, and was floored at the inexpensive price. I ordered immediately, and my case arrived in 2-3 days with regular shipping. The product was exactly as advertised, and I couldn't be happier with it if it made me coffee in the morning! Not the same as the original, very dissapointed By Doug Andriuk I've had the kensington contour roller for about 3 years. We've been everywhere together. 83 countries in fact. I've been very impressed with this bag. My old bag is a six star bag. Unfortunately, the wheels wore out and some of the stitching was starting to come apart. I've loved this bag, so choosing a new one wasn't going to be a problem. I ordered the 'exact' same bag from amazon. The 'new' contour roller is a cheap knock off of the old bag. I'm so disappointed. The pictures are all of the old bag. First, the zipper tags are some cheap little metal tabs, unlike the originals that were a neat two piece tab. The material is different, to be blunt, it's cheap, coarse nylon. The older bag had a softer feel, and the use of a simulated leather in key places like around the top handles. The leather has been removed from the top of the bag. Several of the little interior pockets have been removed, these were great for little things like pen drives. The zipped laptop sleeve is no longer removable. The bag smells like 'China'. If you have ever been to China you know what I'm talking about. It has a 'tar/oil' smell. I can smell it now as the bag sits beneath my desk. Kensington, what happened? This was probably the best rolling laptop bag on the market, now it is a cheap knock off of itself. Top notch for Uber Travelers By domeboy I'm a consultant and I spend quite a bit of time banging around between airplanes, rental cars and in and out of buildings. I have no less than 12 different laptop bags at home, from rollers to backpacks and over the shoulders. As you can tell, I have been searching for the right one. I recently bought this one due to the nice looking lightweight handle. Most roller bags look like roller bags. This one looks like a larger over the shoulder bag that has rollers. And that's exactly what it turned out to be. In fact, I just returned from a vacation where I hade both a Dell 700m and an Apple 12" PB in the same compartment, along with several other gadgets, accessories and files. Let's just say it was a working vacaion. It handled it all without a wimper. I was able to carry the bag when need be, roll it through airports and even tuck it UNDER the front seat on 4 different flights. I'm very impressed. Enough so that I ordered the larger overnighter version and the small shuttle for the quick trips. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of Kensington stuff but they sure got this right. Just make sure you look around a bit and get the right pricing. Update: I agree with other reviewers. I recently bought another one of these and the bag has changed. It is still a pretty good bag but not the top notch, virtually perfect bag that I originally bought in 2005 and still have (the above review). On the newer bag, which I bought for my wife, I added Zipquix zipper pulls to make up for the simple, small and slippery metal tabs they now use. Good Value, Snug fit By Tessera * Fits the new MacBook Pro 13" too (only difference is the laptop "lock" notch near the CD drive is covered.) * Fits snugly with a slight bit of padding, so you can put your laptop in a backpack or something without scratching it. The case meets very well when the laptop is closed. * The Apple logo isn't visible (fairly minor) and the sleep light isn't visible. All other ports are easy to access. * When the screen is 100% tilted back (I don't really tilt my screen this far), it will seal of the rear fan port as the case meets. The rear of the laptop isn't actually covered by the case to allow venting. * It has a nice, soft feel to it that I like better than a plastic shell. The inside is lined as well. * Under $30 seems like a great value for this. It has a nice look (black matches the aluminum style). * I would order this same product again if I needed another. Dulak Just got my new 13" MBP last week and I had already put a small scratch in the bottom aluminum cover :grr: from gentle normal useage. So I immediately set out to find a shell cover. I was never a fan of plastic covers (clear or otherwise) so I went in search of a leather cover at "any" price point (I also own a Vaja leather cover for my iPhone). There are plenty of high priced options that I'm sure would be "worth" it, but for $25 this cover is excellent choice! Even for $50 I'd still consider it money well spent especially compared to some of the designer MBP leather covers/cases that can run $100-$300! As others have noted, this case fits nice and snug. When closed pretty much everything is covered except for the ports and CD slot on the sides. The leather is thin (but that is to be expected at this price point) but has a very nice, smooth grained texture with a subtle Macally logo embossed on the LCD cover. Also, both the top and bottom do have some padding built into them between the leather and the plastic skeleton inside which is a nice touch and the inside has a soft faux suede insert to not scatch up the laptop. The only real cons of this cover is that it covers up the sleep LED indicator on the front edge and a cutout for the glowing Mac logo would have been nice (if you going for the mac snob look, LOL). Otherwise, this cover stealths your Mac a bit by being largely non-descript on the outside. Finally as others have noted, the case does close the back side if you tilt the LCD as far back as it will go, however if you look down at the hinge with the LCD open you can still see the vents so they can still blow out the top of the hinge. Not ideal, but the vents aren't completely closed off. This shell case is a definite winner, I'd highly recommend it and would buy one again. The few cons noted are easily overcome by the value of this case and for $25 it really can't be beat. Pleased By eg I had hoped the jacket would have a little more padding, the padding it came with seems smaller than the actual case and leaves corners unprotected. The material also isn't very stretchy, nor is it neoprene. I had to carry it through a light rain and was very happy that the jacket seemed water resistant.
