Not pleased, plastic outgassing By Math Advocate If you're looking for a cheap envelope for your MacbookPro, I suggest making an origami case over this product.When this product arrived, Amazon had shipped it in a box that was too small for the product, so it showed up bent. But upon further inspection the product itself outgassed a terrible plastic smell or fishy rotten odor from the inside of the case. It was pretty unbearable. I didn't dare put my laptop in it, so that it wouldn't stink. I ended up having to return it, after attempting to air it out for several weeks near an air cleaner and fan. The smell wouldn't go away.You get what you pay for and if its $15, it's going to be cheap materials and come with obvious flaws. Nice case for a 17" Macbook Pro By Oded Shopen It seems to be protecting the laptop very well. It is not as light as your average fabric sleeve, but it feels more sturdy because of that. It adds a little to the width of the product. I can't fit the sleeve with the macbook pro into a MacCase bag for a 17" macbook pro. Anyway - at this price point you won't find anything better.
